As they say better late than ever, but alas our dear Duke plummeted before he could completely emerge out of hibernation. Post 3D Realms demise numerous artists, modelers and animators have been posting their works on the project online, but no entity till now has disclosed the nature of platforms the game was being developed for. Jay Brushwood’s linkedin’s profile finally provides us the answer to the great mystery-Duke Nukem Forever was being developed for the P.C and Xbox 360. The blond haired pig kicking hollywood junket was supposed to have a showcase at this year’s E3 before 3D Realms were shoveled to the grave. So Will Microsoft or another publisher pick the remainder’s of his coffin and give him a new lease of life or shall he remain buried “FOREVER”, is perhaps a mystery time shall tell. Till then the tagline “When Its done” lays in waste and so does the awesome Lee Jackson/Megadeth soundtrack for the game.
